Well Blogger's finally right side up! The new guys from Google must have pushed the red botton marked "Whatever you do, don't push this button!"
Wednesday night at the library, I was late getting here tonight, blamed the traffic but I was actually looking at the sweaters on sale at Macy's. $40 sweaters for $9.99! I have too many clothes but at these prices you gotta buy. Speaking of sweaters, I'm Wearing: Black Acrylic Henley knit, with another pair of those washed out olive drab cotton pants. Listening to: Applause from the other room where someone is speaking to a large group of students and you can over hear every word. The acoustics in this open atrium are not library like.
Voices have been plentiful today. Yesterday's visitation by the unpopular 'Curse of the Fuckup' was quickly followed by a disassociation into what sounded like a bunch of parts but only because they were all speaking at the same time. I think it was 4 or 5 of them, all small, about seven or eight years old. They were all scared because the bully had been throwing his weight around. "It's just not fair," they all said. "He's so mean," and "When is he going to leave?" The only way I know how to handle the bully is to take lorazapam and go to sleep. He rarely stays around for more than a couple of days. He's gone now...I'm sure of it. You can all come out and play now.(I hear a bunch of "tee hee's." They get embarrassed when I talk about them). They are really precious little ones. Ariel and Princess Roo would call them Elves or Fairies. Maybe they are Munchkins. Please, if they visit you, just let them play.

Wearing: Black cotton knit mock turtle w/ my old favorite cotton khaki pants.
Listening to: The Thompson Twins
My friend Dale is going to be on the radio playing folk, old timey gospel and country swing on Saturday morning at WUSC, the station of the University of South Carolina. He was on WUSC when we were students at USC some 40 years ago and he occasionally does a guest host slot when he's in town. Well, he wants to play some songs off my CD! I can't wait! I'm going to be on the radio! I'm sure nothing will come of it but still it's going to very exciting to hear myself. I think I'll drive around Columbia with my radio blaring! Too bad all you bloggers can't tune in...because of a cutback in funds WUSC isn't on the net. Too bad.
Then there's the party which starts on Saturday afternoon. What a fun weekend!
