I had a dream the other night that Mother was in the kitchen boiling potatoes and fixing a roast in the oven. It was winter and the windows were all steamed up. Dad was there too, his silent presence filled the room with security. There was no tension, no worries, only a since of knowing that every thing was alright. Happiness for me is my parents spiritual arms around me.
I also had the thought that there is but one spirit and it takes infinite number of forms at any moment all at the same time, simoultaneously rejoining the the one spirit. And then I realized that the same spirit was in me, was in everyone, that that same feelings of hope and despair were felt by all humans. We are all bound by this sameness of spirit. Let's not forget it.

In order toI get my Maple Larrivee from Guitar Center, it will take almost a grand. I really need to rescue it before GC sells it out from under me. They did that to another Larrivee of mine last year. My retirement check should be here in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I visited Galaxy yesterday and they had a whole new shipment of guitars in stock, both new and used. First choice was Larrivee J-05, a jumbo mahogony with deep projection. The action was a little too loose for me, tended to snap a little bit, but that could be fixed. Price was about half of it's $2000 tag when new. We're talking about very affordable thunder! In the sealed acoustic room were two limited edition Larrivees with inlaid headstock and fretboard, one a L09 the other a LV09. Beautiful instruments, rosewood toned at $2000 apiece. Also a Cherrywood Martin for about $850, best value in the place. This used Smartwoods Martin was a little too mellow for me. Almost muddy.
I can't wait to get back my blonde Larrivee. It's always a pleasure to play.

Apologies to my brother-in-law and sister!Things should get a lot better soon. I've registered with several temp. agencies and plan to apply in person at some businesses on Monday, specifically Guitar Center, where I have several close friends and another guitar store closer to home. Something's bound to break soon. In the meantime my belly's full and I have Cokes to drink (thanks to Border's Books in-store credit). I'll let all you bloggers know how it turns out tomorrow evening.
